Synopsis
A ranching family in Montana faces off against others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a veteran of the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montana accent and revert to his usual SoCal speaking voice. This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big city mob life. The show is well-acted, the first two episodes are well-written, and it leaves you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the beautiful scenery of Montana and Utah. The Duttons remind me of The Ewings from the 70s drama ‘Dallas.’ In short, Yellowstone is "Dallas" meets "The Sopranos".
