The first race of Senna’s career in England is shown on a racetrack next to a mountain range
Synopsis
A fictional miniseries based on the life of Ayrton Senna da Silva, the Brazilian racing legend who won the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship three times. The writers of this series have stated that they had some limitations due to the Senna family’s involvement in the production.
The acting is great
There are no mountains in England – especially Norfolk, which is known for its flat landscape. This is currently the best biopic series on the streaming service Netflix, with a Brazilian partner taking center stage!
The storytelling is so accurate that you are where you are in the moment
I had so many flashbacks to seeing the iconic race and it took me back in time. I was and still am a Senna fan and cried a lot when he died, not having watched any F1 races for many ears.
He’s a role model of an athlete and sportsman!
To say this, for F1 fans and for Senna fans, it’s a must. It’s a re-enactment of those moments that made me fall in love not only with the driver he was, but with the person he was.
As he always said, “it’s pure racing!”
